Notice:#2/077

24th of Poush, 2077

Dear Parents,

We would like to thank for the support and cooperation from all the students, teachers, parents and staff for conducting the Second Terminal Examination-2077 in physical presence which is being held from 21st of Poush, 2077 to 29th of Poush, 2077.  We must thank parents, teachers, and community leaders for their resilience and fighting against the outbreak of this pandemic COVID-19 to protect ourselves while we continued to educate and groom our students during this most unusual of circumstances through virtual classes.

As we all accept that learning should not stop regardless any circumstances, there still remains dilemma and queries as to how school is planning to reopen physically from 4th of Magh. Though we are in the service of education, our utmost priority is the safety of our students, teachers and staff.  We seek to return to school as normal (traditional) with enhanced safety and cleaning measurements. So, we have come with two options to run the school.

Option -1 Enhanced Traditional Medium- The school continues to run as normal with effective safety precautions in place such as hand sanitizer availability all around, increased frequency of cleaning in high touch areas and wash rooms, handwashing corners, maintaining social distancing, periodic trainings and awareness programs, intensive surveillance, isolation area, withdrawal of mass gathering programs and activities.

Option-2 Full Online Learning Medium- This plan will be only for the needy students who may not be able to attend the first plan due to circumstantial situations. The students can stay at home to attend the class virtually throughout the school hours. Classes will be run virtually and physically simultaneously. Students of Nursery to Grade IX can attend the virtual class which would be delivered by the teachers from the classroom in the following situations:

  • Your child (or someone living at home such as a parent or sibling) has an underlying condition (or age) that increases the risk for severe illness from COVID-19.
  • The level of community spread is high in your area (which increases the risk of COVID-19).
  • Your child is out of valley. (not possible to return at the present condition)

Submission of Form for physical classes: Students who are willing to take the classes physically are required to fill up of the form with signature of the parents and should be duly returned to school the next day.

Uniform: We have not made any changes in the school uniform. Students will be allowed to come to school in descent dress for two weeks only. After that they are required to wear school uniform.

Fees: Parents are required to clear the dues upto the month of Poush. The fee structure is same for both options from Magh onwards.

2nd Term Exam Break: After the Second Terminal Examination 2077, the school has announced 2-day exam break on 1st and 2nd of Magh. Physical as well as online classes will be resumed from Sunday, 4th of Magh, 2077.

Holidays: Except Saturdays, on all days (even in public holidays) classes will be run in order to compensate the delay of the courses due to COVID-19.

Exams and Tests: All tests and exams except the Final exam will be held both physically and virtually. But the students are encouraged to take the exams physically. The students who appear the exams virtually will not be eligible of claiming merit based scholarships.

Class Routine: The information of the class wise routine with new school timing will be sent on the last day of the examination.

Platform for online classes: Microsoft Teams will be the platform for online classes for all the classes.  So all the guardians need to install Microsoft Teams in the devices they use and contact school for username and password to login or any other queries. For new users, school will give orientation to guardians and students for the operation of the App.

Thank you once again for your support and cooperation,

Principal
